Who are skipper training programs for?
Skipper training is suitable both for those who already hold a boat skipper license but lack practical experience, and for complete beginners with no license or prior nautical knowledge.

For licensed skippers who have so far sailed mainly as crew members, we offer hands-on training with a strong focus on safe departures and docking—often the biggest challenge when operating a vessel independently. In addition, we prepare you for future independent boat charters, teaching you what to look out for, what to check, and how to plan properly.

Skipper training is conducted on sailboats, catamarans, as well as motorboats and yachts.

For participants with no nautical background at all, we offer comprehensive skipper training combined with nautical education and preparation for the boat skipper license exam. The exam is taken at the harbour master’s office in Šibenik, every Tuesday.

For those with limited time, it is also possible to take only the skipper license exam first and complete the practical skipper training at a later date.
